Core Valley Lines (CVL), Package 10 - Ground Investigation (GI) Surveys

Description of the goods or services required

The TfW CVL (Core Valley Lines) Metro project is requiring extensive Ground Investigation (GI) Surveys to be undertaken across the project to enable mainly OLE (Overhead Line Equipment) and civils works. The GI that is required is listed below (but not exhaustive):

• Boreholes (BH)

• Window Samples (WS)

• Hand Dug Trial Pits (HDTP)

• Machine Dug Trial Pits (MDTP)

• Automatic Ballast Sampling (ABS)

The quantity of these works are still to be established but will be split into several packages of consistent works which will be expected to be delivered continuously over several months. Any chosen supplier would look to be involved in the planning and delivery management of these packages of works.
