Abstract

A Maternity Solution that allows users a to provide a mechanism to manage & document a woman’s maternity journey, collecting information in real time at the point of care. This includes the ability of both clinical staff and mothers to be able to input data in a structured electronic format. The solution should ensure total continuity of care across Health Board boundaries, and be supported across settings beyond the hospital and out into the community. Such a system will provide robust comparable data to allow performance management, benchmarking and quality improvement. Any system must be able to integrate with existing and planned systems and infrastructure and future proofing the system. The system should also offer a service user app/portal solution.
