Abstract
The Streetscene service wish to purchase two electric cleansing carts to assist the street cleansing of Town Centres throughout the county and also along coastal areas that are seeing huge increases in visitor numbers. The Ep2500 cage or equivalent will enable the teams to work more efficiently and improve cleansing standards during normal work duties as well as during numerous large events held throughout the county. The Ep2500 cage or equivalent will improve user H&S conditions with the removal of manual carts in physical and challenging conditions and also contribute to the authorities Climate Change goals by removing the use of a diesel engine pick-up for these particular tasks.
