Abstract

The University of South Wales has over 50 lifts installations across its seven campuses and is seeking to appoint a Lift Maintenance provider by a process of competitive tender for a fixed price contract. The contract will cover planned preventative & statutory maintenance and inspection, remedial works, day to day breakdown call out repairs including repairs caused by vandalism / misuse, minor works and modifications together with a 24-hour 365 emergency response for entrapment. The University is committed to ensuring that students and staff enjoy a positive and safe environment whilst on campus and we are looking for a maintenance provider who shares our commitment. Tenderers should have a proven track record in Lift Maintenance and able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the industry best practices as well as relevant regulations and standards.
