The aim of the technology is to improve uptake of ACR testing in patients with conditions including diabetes and high blood pressure in order to promote early identification and treatment of CKD and reduce rates of end-stage renal disease (“ESRD”).

The Health Board wish to pursue this new innovative technology within the North Ceredigion Cluster to boost the uptake of ACR testing and reduce the demand on primary and secondary care sites with staff time and resources saved.
