Strengthening Families Together: Families First Consultation

Dear Providers,

Wrexham County Borough Council would like to invite you to our Families First engagement event which will be held on;

Date - Wednesday 15th October 2025 (15/10/2025)

Time - 09:30 – 12:30.

Venue - Hwb Lles Wrecsam | Wellbeing Hub Wrexham

Address - Waterworld Car Park, Chester Street Crown Buildings Opposite, Wrexham LL13 8BG

The aim of the event is to engage key stakeholders to gather evidence of the early help and prevention needs of the children, young people and families of Wrexham.

The event will focus on;

• Gathering evidence

• Ensuring inclusivity

• Promoting co-production

• Co-designing services

• Improving outcomes

The evidence and ideas shared will support us to inform our re-commissioning of Families First Services, and design a model that aligns with current demands and policy under the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, the United Nations Convention on the rights of the child (UNCRC) and the Social Services and Well-Being (Wales) Act 2014 (UK).

WCBC would strongly encourage all support Providers/stakeholders to attend, regardless of whether you are currently working in partnership with the Local Authority. Due to capacity we can only accommodate one representative from each organisation or sector to feedback the collective opinions of their service.
