Title
Supply and installation of floor tiles and resin floor coverings for the new milk processing factory

Description of the goods or services required
The Pembrokeshire Creamery Ltd. plant is a purpose-built 3000m2 dairy processing site, to be commissioned 4th quarter 2022, and fully operational by first quarter of 2023 on a green field site at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
It aims to process approx. 1,000,000 litres of liquid milk per week with options to increase milk bottling capacity and processing of cream products in the future.
The flooring supply is part of a major project to construct a new building for milk processing plant at the Haverfordwest site. The installation of the flooring will be delivered in conjunction with other major civil works on site but splits into distinct phases with work being carried out by other suppliers engaged by the Purchaser and at the same time that the flooring is being installed.
Floor tiles and resin coatings must be supplied and installed to meet current food safety standards and regulations.
The works will be carried out as part of a Notified CDM project.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The works will be carried out as part of a Notified CDM project.
The requirements of this tender are to design, supply and install on site the tiling to the processing areas and resin flooring to the potting hall as per the issued drawings. The scope is to include the supply and installation of the resin flooring to the filling/bottling hall, onto already laid falls, to install kagetic tiling or similar to the GF 26 Chemical store, GF25, CIP room and GF23 milk treatment room. The supplier will be responsible for the preparation of the floors, install expansion joints etc as necessary. The supply of skips for the disposal of waste materials is to be supplied by the flooring contractor.
