Total quantity or scope of tender
The scope of work is as follows:
1. To examine the demand for, and benefits of, the project to the general public that will ensure the sustainability of the business proposal.
2. Undertake consultation and primary research as required identifying potential new users and audiences, identify potential target groups/users in the community, identify potential partners and stakeholders.
3. Identify the extent of the “catchment area” of the project taking into account public transport, road networks, interests/ age/ gender of current and potential users. Produce a summary secondary market analysis and combine with the consultation/primary research above to present an overall market appraisal for the project.
4. Advise how best to effectively programme the extended venue in light of best practice in the cinema industry.
5. Advise on staffing implications and whether there is a need to adapt current management structures.
6. Analyse and present a ten year revenue forecast from the period prior to building work, showing the effect of any closure or impact on current operations during construction and extending beyond opening by at least seven years to show the long term financial effect of the costs and incomes of the renewed Galeri.
7. Produce a business case for submission to funders showing how the project will meet the stated objectives and whether it is financially viable in the context of the local market and the proposed pattern of operation.
8. Produce an analysis of risk and sensitivity to demonstrate the resilience of the organisation to undertake and operate the renewed facilities.
9. Produce text and data for applications to ACW, ERDF and other funders as required. Support the process of making applications and respond to queries as required.
