Description of the goods or services required

This contract is for the labour and supply of materials for new fences in Blaencywarch, Dinas Mawddwy. Four out of eight of the fences are mountain boundaries on Yr Aran Fawddwy, Gwynedd and are difficult to access. The other four are situated on the farms lower fields and include some hedge management. A total of 2938m of single fence needs replacing, 362m of double fence and an additional 124m of hedge laying. Total quantity or scope of tender

The total quantity of fencing required within this contract are as follows:

Supply and erect 2938m of single fence. Details of the type of materials required are in the tender documents (2106m are on open mountain, 662m along steep uneasy ground and 170m on flat easier ground)

Supply and erect 362m of double fence.

Lay 124m of hedge to encourage vigorous re-growth.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required

Experience in fencing on difficult terrain without the assistance of machines including post knockers.

Public and Employers liability insurance.
