Gwynedd Council's Highways and Municipal Service wishes to establish a framework agreement for the Hire of General Plant & Equipment including maintenance. This will consist of 2 lots :-

Lot 1 : Telehandlers

Lot 2 : Forklifts

The framework will be assessed on price, quality and social value.

SOCIAL VALUE ASSESSMENT

Bidders will be assessed on their ability to deliver social value, specifically against the Future Generations Act’s 7 Well Being Goals, those being;

• A Healthier Wales

• A more equal Wales

• A Wales of cohesive communities

• A Wales of vibrant shared culture and thriving Welsh Language

This Framework Agreement will be based around the National Themes, Objectives and Measures (TOMS) in order to assess bids. Gwynedd Council have created a bespoke set of measures for this framework. Further information can be found below and attached to this notice.

Bidders will be required to commit to a social value percentage of the framework value and demonstrate, through a method statement how they would deliver social value if successful.

The Social Value criteria will carry a weighting of 10% of the overall assessment.

*PLEASE NOTE* In order for bidders to have a better understanding of the social value aspect of this tender, we are holding a virtual session which will give an overview of the process.
