Abstract

Conwy County Borough Council is holding a pre-tender market engagement event which will be held on the 7th June 2022 at 10.30am. The event will provide an opportunity to share our vision and plans regarding key developments specifically focusing on day opportunities for adults with disabilities. We welcome all Organisations, particularly Third Sector Organisations to join the event which will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. An an invitation with a link to the event will be sent once an expression of interest has been obtained through sell2wales.

4.1 Additional Information

Conwy County Borough Council is currently developing the Bron y nant site in Colwyn Bay to provide a range of services for people with disabilities. As part of this development, the Council aims to modernise day services and open up employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.

An accessible café and shop will be developed which will be a place where people with disabilities can learn a range of skills that will help them to move on and find employment.

The Social Services Department is opening up an opportunity to work with a partner in Conwy who can support this development.
