Abstract

The ground investigation that is the subject of this tender is the main geo-environmental investigation of the Baglan Bay site. The Baglan Bay site is a former chemical works, and the objectives of the ground investigation are outlined below: • Through the excavation of trial pits and boreholes undertake soils, groundwater, and ground gas sampling across the site. • Record the presence of buried structures/utilities encountered during ground the ground investigations. • Undertake a monitoring and sampling regime of groundwater and ground gases across the site.
