Design Brief
LOAD HOUSE
Over all dimensions: To suit the architects details (attachment supplied) – 2.5m deep.
Designed to be installed back to steel frame that is cladded using Kingspan MR panelling
The load house must be designed to be mounted on adjustable legs to allow for any uneven floor mounting.
External insulation to the house must be min 50mm insulated panelling (roof and side panelling). XL Forte finish in ‘Kingspan Goosewing Grey’ (BS10A05 or RAL 0807005)
DOCK LEVELLER
Must be manufactured to comply with EN 1398:2009 and be fully certified & tested. Load testing documentation supplied upon completion.
Pit dimensions by supplier, in line with architects dimensions provided.
Fitted with a hydraulic telescopic lip dock leveller, complete with all motors, pumps, guarding and safety features (signage / rails etc.)
LOADING BAY DOOR
To suit a clear opening as per architects details.
Door panelling to be Kingspan Firesafe panels (OSA) with XL Forte finish in ‘Kingspan Goosewing Grey’ (BS10A05 or RAL 0807005)
Power supply to be 3 phase for all operations (open/close/stop push buttons) and include manual lightweight chain mechanism in the event of breakdowns.
All safety breaks as required / necessary.
Door to include vision panel.
DOCK SHELTER
Non inflatable, standard rubber side and top curtain shelter to suit architects sizes for finished openings and steel work.
Insulation to the side and roof to match the main load house (Min 50mm)
Safety: Side curtains to be supplied with yellow guide markers.
CONTROL PANELS
Composite control panel that allows users to operate the dock leveller, the outer sectional door, the dock shelter And external safety traffic lights
External traffic light units ‘Red & Green’ LED lighting (operated from composite control panel). The dock traffic lights are all linked up linked in with the door.
MISC SAFETY ITEMS
Rubber dock guards / bump stops as recommended by supplier that compliments the size of the hydraulic lip within dock leveller.
