This Autolink event sees a brand new format comprising a virtual plenary session to be held on Thursday 26th November, and we are delighted that we will welcome to the session Ken Skates MS, Minister for Economy, Transport and North Wales who will deliver an address.  We are also extremely pleased to be hosting the final of the EESW Student of the Year competition.

10:15 – 11:00: Future sector opportunities for the traditional Supply Chain

John will provide an insight in to how the traditional Supply Chain can apply their current core competencies (Stampings / Assembly / Welding / Injection Mouldings etc) to opportunities around Batteries, Power Electronics, Motors and Drives.

Production Outlook update

Ian, who is a visiting Professor at the Centre for Brexit Studies at Birmingham City University and whose specialisms include vehicle production forecasting and supply chain analysis, will provide us with a UK Vehicle Production Outlook update. 

11.30 – 11.45:    EESW Student of the Year Award

This year’s EESW Student of the Year Award, sponsored by Industry Wales, celebrates the success of the students taking part in the EESW Project 2019-20.  The EESW Project encourages young people to consider a career in STEM by giving students a positive experience working with professional engineers in an industrial setting.
