As a critical supplier to the Welsh Public Sector, we want you to help shape how suppliers report the carbon impact of goods and services.

The Welsh Government Energy Service has been commissioned to investigate supply chain carbon reporting as part of the Welsh Public Sector’s 2030 net zero ambition. Through this session we hope to:

  • Inform suppliers of Welsh Public Sector carbon reporting requirements and current approaches to supplier emissions accounting.
  • Understand current supplier practice regarding carbon reporting.
  • Provide an outlook on future reporting requirements and gather feedback.

A key objective of our work is to explore supplier carbon reporting and recommend enabling actions to overcome barriers. This session is an opportunity for you to inform the steps required to move towards net zero carbon reporting in the Welsh Public Sector.

Ideally, attendees should have a strong grasp of their own organisations data management and carbon reporting practices.
