We are pleased to invite you to the Major Asset Renewals Workshop on 10th October 2024 at Wrexham University.

This workshop forms part of the Welsh Government's renewed approach to Major Asset Renewal Schemes following the Lugg Review, aligning closely with the ambitions and priorities of the Wales Transport Strategy (WTS). Our focus is on creating a sustainable, equitable, and resilient transport system, with a commitment to decarbonisation, promoting well-being, and driving economic growth.

This event will bring together consultants, contractors, and key industry stakeholders to share our pipeline of Major Asset Renewals and explore how these strategic priorities can be integrated into the procurement and delivery of asset renewal schemes on the Strategic Road Network (SRN) in Wales. Together we aim to ensure that innovation, sustainability, and collaboration are at the forefront of our efforts. We are pleased to announce that the Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport, Ken Skates MS, will also be attending the event.
