The Minister for Culture, Skills and Social Partnership has recently launched the public consultation on secondary legislation in relation to the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023.
This technical consultation provides stakeholders with an important opportunity to comment on the secondary legislation. Views are sought on whether the draft regulations accurately reflect the policy intent, which is settled and grounded in the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act.
We particularly encourage responses from contracting authorities listed in Schedule 1 of the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023, as well as suppliers to the public sector and others with an interest in the Act, the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, and procurement more broadly.
Should you wish to contribute to the consultation, your responses should be submitted by completing this online form. The closing date for submission of responses is 14:00 on 14 October 2025.
