Bron Afon Community Housing Ltd (‘Bron Afon’) Afon is the Registered Social Landlord set up specifically to own, manage and improve the homes previously owned by Torfaen County Borough Council.
Bron Afon was established as and remains a social enterprise that is a partnership between its members, Board and staff whose purpose is to improve the quality of life and life chances of our local communities and make a positive difference to people's lives. Our work and initiatives cover construction, community regeneration, tenant support, skills development and so much more. Bron Afon is unique because it is owned by the tenants and residents in Torfaen, and is shaped and developed through their direct input.
Bron Afon provides approximately 8,000 affordable rented homes in the Torfaen County Borough, along with management of approximately 900 leasehold flats, and 80 shared ownership flats.
