Kier Construction

Kier Group plc is a leading construction, services and property group specialising in building and civil engineering, support services, commercial property development, structured property financing and private and affordable housing.

Our Regional Offices in Cardiff and Swansea offer a comprehensive construction service throughout Wales, with the flexibility and expertise to deliver projects of all values and sectors; including minor works programmes delivered via the SCAPE Framework.

Following significant success on the South-East Wales and South West Wales Regional Contractors Frameworks, we are successfully delivering numerous high-profile schemes in the region. Current projects include S4C’s Yr Egin Headquarters in Carmarthen, Phase 1 of the new multi-million-pound Swansea Innovation Quarter for University of Wales Trinity St David and the Impact Building at Swansea University’s Science and Innovation Bay Campus.

We are excited to be involved with delivering several schools, including Ysgol Carreg Hir primary school in Neath Port Talbot, Croesyceiliog Comprehensive and Penygarn Primary School, both located in the borough of Torfaen, and Treorchy Comprehensive school in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

In Wales Kier are delighted to be delivering buildings under the following frameworks:

- South East Wales Schools Capital Working Group
- South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework
- Designed for Life : Building for Wales

Delivering locally for both public and private sectors means that we add value by providing employment and social value, and as most of our clients’ expenditure remains within the communities in which we work, a significant boost to the local economy.

Kier operate a supply chain who’s open, proactive business culture aligns with ours; and as such we continuously strive together to improve performance; and we work repeatedly in a spirit of co-operation, trust and respect. This approach works to the mutual benefit of all parties, including those of our Clients, through operational efficiency, teamwork and improved communication.

In order to continue and strengthen the above successful formula we are always looking to meet and discuss opportunities with new SME’s and demonstrate the benefits that can be afforded to your company by registering for the Supply Chain.
