II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The procurement is for a single platform Microbiology Test System as a managed service agreement, this agreement is to include hardware, software, firm ware, training system interfaces infrastructure changes, instillation works and maintenance and support for the lifetime of the contract.
Test kits required are HBsAg, HCV ab/ag, HIV Ab/ag, antibody to Syphilis, anti-HTLV I/II, antibody to Malaria, anti HBc, anti-CMV and capability of the system to test for future emerging transfusion transmissible pathogens. Therefore the capacity to run further tests if/when required.
