This advert sets out the requirements Bridgend County Borough Council (the Council) has for a range of services for survivors of domestic abuse. These services will be delivered in line with two separate contracts (Lots) as detailed below:
Lot 1 describes the requirements for provision of:
Accommodation Based Services for survivors of domestic abuse
Lot 2 describes the requirements for provision of:-
Children and Family support services for families who have been affected or witnessed domestic abuse
Interventions to women who have or are experiencing domestic abuse
Providers are able to bid for both Lots and win both Lots.
These services will build upon existing provision, responding to the needs of and supporting those who have or are experiencing domestic abuse.
Provision will support the purpose of the Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015 and the objectives set out in the National Strategy for Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence 2016-2021 and subsequent statutory guidance.
It will also support the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Violence Against Women Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) Strategy as adopted by the Cwm Taf Morgannwg VAWDASV Steering Group.
