Under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, the Council is obliged to consider how the services procured through the Contract may improve the social, economic, and environmental well-being of the local area. Social Value is the benefit to the community from the delivery of Services over and above the direct purchasing of the Services. There can be no additional cost to the Council for the delivery of Social Value commitments. The Contractor is required to set out its Community Benefit Plan as part of their Technical response.
