Title
Design, supply & installation of a Glycol Refrigeration Plant

Description of the goods or services required
The Pembrokeshire Creamery Ltd. plant is a purpose-built 3000m2 dairy processing site, to be commissioned 4th quarter 2022, and fully operational by December 2022 on a green field site at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. It aims to process approximately 1 million litres of liquid milk per week, with options to increase milk bottling capacity and processing of cream products in the future.
The tender specification outlines the scope of supply and contract conditions. Proposed suppliers are invited to submit a fixed price quotation for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a Glycol plant.

Total quantity or scope of tender
The Glycol project is part of a major project to design, construct and commission a milk processing plant at the Haverfordwest site, and will be delivered in conjunction with other major works on site but splits into seven distinct phases with some of the work being carried out directly by the Purchaser and some work by the supplier, as follows:
Phase 1
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will be excavating the project area and installing new concrete plinths, ducts and drains, and pathways to provide support for all new equipment, maintenance access.
Phase 2
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will erect a low voltage power distribution building and provide power supply to the glycol plant.
Phase 3
The Supplier will supply, offload and install refrigeration plant, glycol buffer tank and associated equipment.
Phase 4
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will supply and install new feed cables and supply to glycol plant.
Phase 5
The Supplier will install electrical power distribution from the Distribution panel to meet all their requirements.
Phase 6
The Supplier will install all safety equipment to enable full operation of plant.
Phase 7
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will supply and install all pumps, field pipework and instrumentation after the buffer tank for the distribution system from the Glycol tank to the Process plant.
The works will be carried out as part of a Notified CDM project.
