Abstract

This tender is to purchase an ultra-fast (up to 1000 frames per second) broad band (1-5μm) cooled thermal camera with wide temperature range (-20-2000ºC) with the capability to add filters to selectively image: e.g., to see through glass or through flames or to selectively image CO2 emissions. The camera will be portable, but the contract is to be delivered to Bay Campus. The camera should be capable of running up to 125 frames per second at full window and up to 1000 frames per second at reduced window size. The camera detector should be broad band (1-5μm). The camera temperature range should be -20-2000ºC. The camera resolution should be up to 640 x 512 pixels with a pixel size of 15 µm. The thermal sensitivity of the camera should be ≤ 25 mK. The camera should have the capability to add filters to selectively image: e.g. to see through glass or through flames or to selectively image CO2 emissions. The camera package should include a blackbody reference source to relate light intensity to temperature. The camera software should be able to stitch together image data from different temperature ranges. The camera software should also be able to run two cameras at the same time and to be able to trigger them to start and stop recording at the same time.
