Description of the goods or services required
Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking to contract with a small number of suitably skilled and experienced Programme Facilitators to assist the University in the delivery of a management development programme entitled “Help to Grow”.
The Cardiff School of Management enjoys an international reputation for excellence in its teaching, research and enterprise activity. The schools’ Creative Leadership and Enterprise Centre (“CLEC”) was created in 2007 and delivers top class leadership training to the future leaders of both private and public sector organisations.
CLEC has been awarded funding from the UK Government through the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) to deliver the Help to Grow Management (H2GM) Programme from 2021 to 2024.
The Help to Grow Management Programme is a 12-week UK Government funded programme delivered by leading business schools across the UK, all of which are accredited by the Small Business Charter. 30,000 places are being funded throughout the UK over a three-year period by the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The programme will combine a practical curriculum, 12 weeks of modules, plus 1:1 support from a business mentor, peer-learning sessions, and an alumni network.
Designed to be manageable alongside full-time work, the programme will support small business leaders to develop their strategic skills with 12 key modules covering a range of skills which will help them to develop a tailored sustainable business growth plan which will lead their business to its full potential.
The University is therefore looking to complete the main infrastructure for the H2GM Programme by tendering to appoint a small team of programme facilitators, through a framework arrangement, to help deliver this programme.
