Abstract

The aim of this project is to redevelop the ACE Aware Wales website in order to improve the user experience, create a microsite for the National Trauma Framework, enable capacity to host digital training packages and to provide a user login/ membership facility. This will support the ACE Support Hub to reach wider audiences and provide a more accessible way for website visitors to gain and share information. We would welcome ideas on improving the current brand’s look and feel (e.g. website colours, logo, typeface and fonts). The key business requirements for the website are as follows: Engaging and approachable for members and non-members Allow for information and materials to be found quickly and simply, whilst encouraging further exploration. Pages should be easily navigated, and a sophisticated search mechanism will be essential Enable full integration between events and social media Enable data capture for website visits, statistics regarding training e.g. who has accessed the training, has it been completed to the end etc. Microsite off the main website specifically for the National Trauma Framework and associated training and materials – will require login/ membership access Ensure the design, functionality and look and feel of the new website will be important in portraying the image and reputation of the ACE Support Hub as a leader for tackling, mitigating and preventing ACEs in Wales and supporting communities and professionals to become trauma and ACE (TrACE) informed Accessible from any device (computer, tablet, smart-phone) Must be Fully bilingual
