Potential Additional Drainage for the site
A question was put online about additional drainage requirements for the site. Just to clarify if additional drainage is needed we may ask the successful contractor to install this, additional costs will have to come from contingency monies.

Drainage requirements for proposed Play Area.
SUDS requirements. Please note when pricing for this quotation please allow for porous tarmac surfacing. All sub bases for tarmac/ wetpour to be 150mm depth, MOT type 3.

Windmill Lane Play Area
Please note page 14 of the Quotation Document states that the fencing should be painted.
Fencing should not be painted.
Please take this into account when costing this project.

Windmill Lane Safety Surfacing
We are aware that prices of wetpour have risen substantially in recent months. We would consider a design keeping the existing surface beneath the existing Sutcliffe unit (which is to be retained). The contractor will have to allow costs to clean and make good this existing surface and also to provide edging curbs to ensure the edges to the surface neatly and securely meet with the new proposed surrounding materials.
