Abstract

The University wishes to appoint an experienced external Project Management Consultancy with extensive experience of providing training and facilitation of multi-disciplinary workshops. This is to work with the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to enhance the Lessons Learnt approach that is within the Cardiff University Project Management Framework (PMF). Over the last few years extensive work has taken place between PMO, IT and Estates seeking to consolidate different frameworks for project delivery into one single framework with disciplinary points of difference. Capturing Lessons Learnt is considered best practice in delivering projects and is an important component within the consolidated PMF. Our aim now is to implement a consistent approach to capturing and reporting lessons learnt across all Portfolios adding greater value to the organisation.
