Vehicle Auction House Services for the Vale of Glamorgan Council

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) requires the services of an Auction House for the sale of Council vehicles and plant equipment and other associated services (“the Services”).

The agreement will be in the form of a framework and will operate for a period of two (2) years, with the option to extend for up to an additional one (1) year.

You are invited to quote for provision of these Services.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The Council requires the services of an Auction House facility to collect, valet and administer the sale of Council vehicles and plant equipment with the aim of getting the best price possible for the vehicles and plant equipment.

The Supplier will be required to collect the vehicle(s) or plant equipment from the Council’s depot or other agreed locations, remove all Council “signage”, wash and valet the vehicle(s) or plant equipment, and arrange the sale of the vehicle(s) and plant equipment in a pre-agreed timeframe.

Appendix A contains details of different categories of vehicles/plant equipment. The Supplier must be able to cater for all categories of vehicle/plant equipment.
