Supply and Provide Equipment, Training and Teaching Resources for Turntablism and Garageband

Description of the goods or services required

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitable providers that are able to supply and provide equipment, training and teaching resources to fulfil turntablism and GarageBand Educational projects in schools for Caerphilly Music Service.

Level of service required:

1)Schemes of Work and Teaching Resources

Provide complete sets of schemes of work for whole class groups for a series of projects for both Key Stage 2 and Key Stages 3&4 pupils. These schemes of work need to include full training resources for the teachers delivering the project, teaching videos & PowerPoints for the lessons, worksheets with the appropriate notation etc.

This would be for both Turntablism and GarageBand Projects.

2)Training & Support

Provide full initial training to both music service staff and the initial sets of school teachers who will be delivering the project.

Provide ongoing support with the setting up and delivery of the projects.

3)Source and supply equipment for each project

Turntablism X2 sets (more details of specification can be provided upon request)

36 sets of portable battery operated turntables (including extra safety modification approved with the manufacturer)

36 pairs of robust headphones

18 Universal 5 way 3.5mm splitters for headphones

Appropriate cables

Replacement needles

36 bespoke produced vinyl records for the project

Flight cases

Rechargeable batteries, charges and carry cases

6 x small speakers

All equipment to be provided ready to use and placed inside flight cases

iPad GarageBand Project Equipment X2 sets

32x robust headphones

16x universal 5 way 3.5mm splitters for headphones

Mini speaker

Carry container

All equipment supplied ready to use, arranged and placed inside carry container
