Description of the goods or services required
Wrexham County Borough Council, on behalf of the North Wales Local authorities, seeks to acquire a data set for 45 North Wales downs to support an understanding of retail spend and to inform future strategy.
The data set, broken down by County should establish
1) a retail footprint for each of the named towns
2) a profile of catchment / segmentation of the population based on spend patterns within each named town
3) the degree and direction of spend leakage from each named town to nearby, identified centres
4) sector-based spend breakdowns for each named town
The data should be provided in Excel format
The data generated should be repeatable at intervals, allowing consistency of interpretation.
Data from 2021/22 would be of interest.
List of towns is:-
