Description of the goods or services required

Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) invites you to submit a Tender for the Cosy Corner Construction Project.

This Tender is for a Construction Contract, however, the Successful Tenderer has a responsibility for some aspects of the design of the delivered contract in accordance with the Works Document Suite and in liaison with the Authority’s Appointed Persons.

BCBC intends appointing a Lead Contractor to fully undertake and assume full responsibility for the delivery of the Contract, in close liaison with the Authority’s Appointed Person(s).

Brief description: Construction of a new single-story building on Cosy Corner to provide 5 small retail units, community space, public toilets and office space for the running of Porthcawl Marina/Harbour.

Contract Terms and Conditions: JCT Standard Building Contract Without Quantities; and Supplementary Contract Conditions required by the Authority and appropriate to all BCBC Tenders – separate document.
