Title
TV Studio Upgrade - Supply & Installation
|
2.2
|
Description of the goods or services required
The University of South Wales, Faculty of Creative Industries, is planning to upgrade an existing TV studio control room at the Cardiff Campus as part of a phase 1 upgrade. The work to be carried out will focus on a full upgrade of our current TV Studio control room in CAB112 to support a multi-cam studio. This upgrade will not cover the studio floor so the current Sony 1100 HD cameras will remain until phase 2 upgrade is agreed.
This will involve the replacement and upgrade of vision and audio mixer, lighting control desk, multi-view displays and all associated monitors including engineering monitor.
We also aim to replace and upgrade the routing and switching equipment associated with the studio to have a professional and current environment.
This upgrade would ideally include new desk furniture to replace the current setup.
The upgrade would keep the existing connection to our CTA to enable us to send feeds out of studio and receive feeds in via BNC.
