Design, supply and build Eco Office Pods at M-SParc, Gaerwen, Anglesey

Description of the goods or services required

Menai Science Park Ltd (M-SParc) wish to appoint a suitably qualified company to design, supply and build 3x Eco Office Pods to be approx. 28sqm each and suitable for up to 4 people to work in. The requirement to use sustainable, low carbon materials wherever possible is central to the project, we want an exemplar in low carbon build techniques and material e.g. sheep’s wool-based product for insulation and sustainably sourced timber for construction and/or cladding, ensuring that they blend naturally with M-SParc’s current design and ethos. The chosen company would need to demonstrate carbon credentials for the material, for example FSC for timber(https://uk.fsc.org/what-is-fsc). As our science park has evolved over the last four years, two of which have been during the Covid-19 pandemic, we strongly feel that there is more demand for outdoor working office space for our tenants and we wish to maintain our unrivalled agile working environment, unique to the region that sets us apart. This Invitiation to quote provides details on the background of the company, the aims of the commission, and the quotation process including submission deadlines. Crucially we are now at over 90% occupancy in the building and looking at innovative solutions to assist us to maintain the growth whilst longer term plans for a new building on site are developed.
