Pontycymmer Fire Station Extension and Refurbishment

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

On the South Wales Fire and Rescue site at Pontycymmer, we are looking to appoint a Principal Contractor (PC) to carry out the refurbishment of and construction of a new extension.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

SWFRS are bound by the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act and its impact on our local community and economy. Contractors need to pay cognisance to the requirements of the Act and state how they would report their compliance with it to us through delivery of this contract.
