Abstract

A Counter-Current Wash has been determined and approved as one of the pieces of specialised equipment required as part of the establishment of the Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus (AIEC) at Aberystwyth University’s Gogerddan Campus, Wales. The equipment will ultimately be purchased by Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus Limited (a subsidiary company of the University and BBSRC). The equipment is required for washing/leaching the soluble fractions from a variety of plant and processed biomass, typically pressed grass.
