Abstract

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Cardiff and Vale Health Board are inviting companies to advertise and sell products within the department to create income generation opportunities for the Directorate eg. gender reveal products etc. There is a significant throughput of patients, family members, the public and staff on a daily basis within the department for products and services to be seen Opportunities to promote and sell products include: - Advertising on televisions within the labour ward, patient rooms, gynaecology and ante natal waiting rooms - Advertising services, leaflets / posters within areas of high footfall - Space within Ante-natal to sell related products Cardiff and Vale University Health Board provide a wide range of maternity services across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Our main services are located in University Hospital of Wales (UHW) with midwifery outpatient services available at University Hospital of Llandough (UHL). More than 5500 babies are born with us every year and our dedicated midwives, doctors, maternity care support workers and support staff are committed to giving you personalised care of the highest standard to enable a positive birth experience. This PIN Notice will be advertised for 10 days from Friday 22nd July and you are invited to put forward ideas of how you would be able to provide Income Generation for the department by selling your goods or services within the department together with an indication of the commercial model annual forecast of revenue this could generate for the department. Please note that there is no obligation on the department to award a contract as a result of this PIN notice and any contract awarded in the future would be subject to NHS Standard Terms and Conditions which are available to view on the NHS website.
