Abstract

Public Health Wales requires a provider of a secure and reliable software system which can support the delivery of all of the current events services via externally-hosted web pages. It will automate those processes which can be easily carried out by electronically, while giving events team staff the option to manually oversee and control all stages of the process. This will have the benefit of increasing the capacity of the Programme Support department and allows staff to deal with events logistical support work more quickly and efficiently. It will also allow Improvement Cymru to maintain and use an organisation-wide contacts management system in order to gain an integrated view of all of our delegates’ activities and interactions with the organisation. This will enable us to more easily ensure we are using current data, to understand delegates’ past history and to identify and recommend future development opportunities. The system should provide WAI accessibility compliant Improvement Cymru branded pages/screens. All public-facing pages/screens must operate bilingually in both Welsh and English languages.
