Community Buildings Energy Audits

Description of the goods or services required

Conwy County Borough Council wish to appoint consultants to undertake energy audits to determine the energy efficiency of community ran venues in rural Conwy and propose long term interventions to reduce their running costs and reduce their carbon emissions.

The work is funded through the Community Renewal Fund and The Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 LEADER.

Conwy County Borough Council is seeking to appoint a freelance consultant with expertise in creating Energy Audits.

The purpose of the Energy Audit will be to identify energy efficiency and carbon reduction options within community buildings with a view to reduce energy costs long term.

The principle requirements will include;

Raising awareness of the opportunity of a free energy audit with community buildings committees.

Inspiring community building committees to undertake an energy audit to identify long term energy savings and carbon reduction opportunities

Production of an Energy Audit of information gathered and an Action Plan with identified sources of funding both local and national funding opportunities.
