Tipping and Waste Disposal Framework Agreement

Description of the goods or services required

We are seeking to issue a Framework Agreement for Tipping and Waste Disposal to support Tai Tarian in the delivery of its property maintenance and improvement programmes, by receiving and disposing of our waste in an efficient, economic and effective manner, whilst maximising the amount of waste that is reused, recycled and recovered.

It is envisaged that a maximum of 3 Suppliers will be appointed to the Framework Agreement.

The Framework Agreement shall operate for a period of 4 years.

The estimated annual value of the Framework Agreement is 40,000 GBP.

The overall estimated whole-life value of the Framework Agreement will be 160,000 GBP.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

Tai Tarian will be adopting the “core approach” as part of this procurement process. This means the Community Benefits Plan will be evaluated and scored as part of the tender process. However, contractual clauses will set out the specific targets for delivery, to be agreed within 60 days of commencement of the contract.

The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
