Provision of a MYST (My Support Team Service)

Description of the goods or services required

Bridgend County Borough Council are keen to speak to high-quality providers particularly third sector/not for profit providers who have knowledge or experience of delivering a MYST (My Support Team) type service. The MYST model offers a Psychological, CAMHS based holistic model of support for skilled and resilient foster carers, and which could be extended to our residential service. Working to a multi systemic model of practice with significant wrap around support, delivered by a skilled team who have expertise in psychological interventions and strategies which are underpinned by theory and are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The provider will need access to a range of specialist professionals including therapists and a Clinical Psychologist to help provide direct support to both staff and children.

The engagement event is intended to seek the views of providers on a 1-1 basis to identify innovative/specialist ways of working.

The provider event will take place on Tuesday 29th of November between 12 – 1.30 offering 30-minute slots via teams, priority will be given to not for profit providers.
