Abstract

The contract is required to deliver the management of Bikeability in Wales. This will be through a programme of keeping an up-to-date bilingual database, training logs, instructor support and professional development, including external quality assurance in line with the National Standard for Cyle Training. The contract will see cycle training instructors, providers and local authorities better supported to deliver the best services in Wales. The contract requires the successful tenderer to co-produce bilingual digital materials to promote the work in accordance with the Bikeability brand, to allow for the creation/purchase of approved badges and certificates as well as potentially being able to store them. Enquiries from the public with regards cycle training in Wales will need to be handled and dealt with accordingly as well as liaison with other relevant organisations. The estimated contract value is £200,000, for a 2-year contract term.
