Contract for Swansea Hotel Demand Study 2023

Description of the goods or services required

To appoint a research company to undertake a Hotel Demand Study in order to gain an overview of the city’s hotel market in terms of supply, demand and future developments up to 2026.

This work will build on the findings from a previous demand study conducted in 2016 and ensuing recommendations will inform Swansea’s new Destination Management Plan 2022-2025.

Objectives

· Identify current levels of supply and demand within the main hotel sector in Swansea city centre and provision of forecasts of hotel supply and demand to 2026.

· Based on the projected future balance between supply and demand, identify the need for further supply to meet future levels of demand.

· Identify the possibility of attracting future hotel developments as part of the regeneration programme currently planned for the City Centre

By submitting a Quotation for this project, you agree that the ownership of all data and information collected as part of this project is the property of Swansea Council and will not be provided to any third parties. All data collected must be supplied to the Client and after the report has been agreed and signed off, all data must be destroyed according to the accompanying GDPR document. This is a core requirement of the contract.

Register your company on the eTenderWales portal (this is only required once):

— Click on the ITT code. You can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box.

3. Responding to the invitation to tender:

— You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting).

— You can now use the “Messages” function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification.
