Total quantity or scope of tender
The Council requires an experienced consultancy (“the Supplier”) with evidence of implementing successful signage projects, to develop the concept designs for signage in the Wayfinding Scoping Report into detailed fabrication drawings and to sub-contract a fabricator to create prototypes. The Supplier will also review and complete the street map design for the whole of Barry and prepare the map artworks for each of the arrival and connector signage products. The Supplier will prepare a phased and costed schedule of work to be agreed with the project team which will outline the tasks and budget for each phase of work. The Supplier will support the Council with the preparation of tender documents to appoint a manufacturer to fabricate and install the suite of signage. (This will be a competitive process and may or may not be the same manufacturer that produced the prototypes.)
