The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) requires the supply of security at four car parks in Barry and associated services (“the Services”).
Any future agreement will operate for a period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to an additional one (1) year.

Additional Information
The Council believes that its current contract is subject to TUPE (“Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 as amended” and related enactments). Bidders must obtain their own independent legal advice to satisfy themselves of the applicability of the regulations.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council has declared a Climate and Nature emergency and is committed to working with suppliers that contribute to our journey towards Net Zero Carbon.
Tenders may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than a tender submitted in English.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

Important - Submission date Extended to 15th March 2023
Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Council is extending the deadline for this tender. Unfortunately it has come to our attention that there has been no response to the questions previously asked via the Portal. In order to ensure fair and transparent treatment to all, the decision to extend has been taken. To those bidders who have already uploaded their submissions, please be reassured that the bids have not been unlocked and opened and are therefore still anonymous. They will not be opened until the new deadline has passed and you can resubmit your tender during this time if required. Please accept the Council's apologies for the inconvenience caused.
