Invitation to meet with First Choice Housing Association re South Wales work programme

First Choice Housing Association Ltd (“FCHA”) are inviting contractors to meet with us to discuss our future programme of work with the aim of working with skilled, local contractors.

FCHA wishes to invite interested parties to a meeting for new and existing contractors at the YMCA Port Talbot Plaza on Friday 19th May 2023. Please e-mail Niakenward@fcha.org.uk for further details.

We are looking for contractors to provide a range of services including general building services for new build, extensions to existing dwellings, refurbishment and maintenance/repair contractors. We are also looking for support for decarbonisation activities. Key contractors are:

• General Builders (small to medium size)

• Roofer

• Carpenter

• Plumber

• Electrician

• Oil Heating Engineer

• Landscaping / tree surgery

• Consultants and QS support

First Choice Housing Association Limited (“FCHA”) was established in 1988 and is a specialist housing association providing supported housing for vulnerable people throughout Wales. FCHA is registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and has charitable status.

FCHA provide 400 properties, including permanent leasehold properties and properties for respite or emergency intervention. FCHA also has an ambitious development programme with a target of 48% growth over 5 years.

FCHA has a committed reactive maintenance, planned maintenance and decarbonisation programme.

All contractors who wish to work with FCHA will be required to sign up to our Contractor Code of Conduct and Data Protection Policy.
