Merthyr Tydfil Country Borough Council is inviting suitable organisations to submit an expression of interest to develop and support the registration of new provision and to provide support to all play providers in Merthyr Tydfil in line with priorities set out within the PSA and Wellbeing goals.

The Play Sector consists of:
1. Third sector voluntary organisations
2. Community Play Providers
3. Youth settings
The Local Authority require specialist support in each of the above sectors. Additionally, there is also a significant amount of overlap in the support that is required in relation to Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), funding, training and quality. There is also an overlap in the support that is given to the early years’ sector and the play sector.
