Cwrt Mawr B & Cwrt Mawr G are representative of the two types of residential halls in Cwrt Mawr.
This tender uses these blocks as a benchmark for works which will be extended to include as many of the other Cwrt Mawr blocks as possible within a budget that is yet to be confirmed but will need to be expended by end of July 2023. Further budget for financial year Aug 1st 2024 – Jul 31st 2025 may be identified to ensure continuity for further works.
Cwrt Mawr B (Representative of blocks A-F)
There are two main staircases in these larger blocks, giving access to twelve flats.
The four ground floor flats have single doorways roughly 850mm x 2350mm.
The eight flats that comprise the First & Second floors have single doors and glazed partitions roughly 1680mm x 2350mm
There is a single door access to the loft area above the South stairwell Second floor landing.
Cwrt Mawr G (Representative of blocks G/H/J/K/M/N)
There is one main staircase in these smaller blocks, giving access to six flats.
All six flats have single doorways roughly 1000mm x 2300mm.
There is a wood veneered door on each floor of the stairwell that give access to service ducting roughly 730mm x 2300mm.
