Abstract

Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) wishes to award the contract for the New Inn Bridge Remedial Works. Description: The project involves remedial repairs to New Inn Bridge. The bridge consists of a 4-span masonry river arch structure with masonry parapets and substructure. The structure is 3.8m wide with individual spans being 4.6m, 5.3m, 5.0m and 4.2m running from northwest to southeast with a weight restriction of 2.5 tonnes applied to the entire structure. The structure is a Grade II* listed and a scheduled ancient monument. There is a Price Cap of £550,000 on this Tender bids exceeding the Price will be disqualified. It is a condition of this Tender and contract that all Bidders shall be Registered and Verified on Constructionline.
