North Wales Training TA as COPA require an online learning platform that supports the delivery of teaching and learning of numeracy to 450 learners across North Wales. The proposed programme will boost people’s ability to use numeracy in their daily life, at home and work and enable adults to achieve feel more confident in their use of numeracy to open doors for them such as career progression, or progression to further study.
The platform will track individual progress throughout their learner journey and will enable measurement of distance travelled.
A robust reporting facility is also required which would allow the capture of a full range of management information.
This programme will lead to increased numeracy confidence in everyday life and will range from entry level to level 2. Units include: -
Numbers to 1000 Understanding fractions
Addition and subtraction Simple algebra
Multiplication and division Understanding time and temperature
Calculations with money Properties of shapes and positional vocabulary
Understanding decimals Distance, length, weight, and capacity
